On any given day in ConnectFamilias Family Center you will find families engaged in:

  • Health literacy workshops, such as Play with Food™, to promote healthy eating choices and Dientes Fuertes, Vida Sana (DFVS) a culturally competent program to prevent early childhood tooth decay
  • Art and early childhood literacy workshops to promote early learning
  •  Healthy Mommy/Happy Baby™ community baby showers with a twist to promote prenatal and post-partum care
  • YouthConnect™, youth leadership program that connect teens with opportunities and access to  engage in their community and be the change
  • Connect2Community™  2-Generational activities for children and their families to connect them to Miami’s vast community resources so that they may experience, explore their dreams as they learn & make memories together with their family and friends
